Our Mission
Via pledges to serve immigrants by fostering allied networks, raising awareness, and overcoming barriers to service through empowerment and leadership.
Established in 2017, VIA hit the ground running with an ambitious agenda to serve the immigrant communities most in need. We launched the development of toolkits to help teach attorneys how to navigate unique cases, and we launched a nationwide research project for the development of an effective Rapid Response Network. In addition to our attorney education program and community outreach efforts, we have contracted experienced and trustworthy Immigration Attorneys to provide their services in helping undocumented and unaccompanied youth and minors in obtaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. We are helping children find their path to US Citizenship, one step at a time.
Customs and Border Patrol found 67,339 unaccompanied children between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014.

We connect young undocumented individuals (under 21 years old) to experienced Immigration Attorneys for free consultations to determine possible legal solutions to obtain legal status. Those who qualify can apply for SIJS through our legal team. SIJS, short for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, is a unique process that allows certain undocumented youth to apply for a Green Card, and eventually U.S. Citizenship.
Our team is as diverse as the community we serve. Our Board includes attorneys and paralegals, SIJS and DACA recipients, and community members eager to make a difference.
